Introducing Shock Munch’s Intro YouTube Video! I’ve spent this entire week learning new software to create videos for the blog and Shock Munch’s YouTube Channel. I’ve finally finished our intro video! Check it out!
I’m not going to lie, it’s been a fun week. I’ve been learning how to make YouTube videos and the editing process that’s involved. Kieran and I spent a great deal of time filming, editing, recording voice-overs, and laughing at ourselves.
This first video is an introduction to the type of content you can expect from us. It’s silly, lighthearted, and speaks volumes about who we are as a couple. You’ll see in short order we never take ourselves seriously. We love making each other laugh and we laugh all the time.
You’ll also notice the production value of this video is janky AF. As we learn and grow through this process I’m certain we’ll commandeer better camera/lighting equipment, not to mention skills, to produce better videos, but for now, our production value is amateur at best.
The overall plan is to shoot one, hopefully, two videos per week. We’ve been scribbling down script ideas for the last few days and have some fun stuff in store for you. The emphasis will be on food but we’ll also be sharing videos on DIY projects and outdoor adventures.
So, with nervous anticipation, I introduce Shock Munch’s Intro YouTube Video!
So, what did you think of a first timer’s video? Be honest, but gentle 🙂
I’m back in the kitchen filming food next week. It will be a yummy appetizer just in time for Super Bowl 🙂
Thanks for stopping by,
Christina

Awww, thank you!!! Happy weekend to you too! <3
It looks like you guys had a blast filming this — you’re so funny! I appreciate the humor. 🙂 I’m working hard on videos and have so much to learn!
Thank you, Marcie 🙂
We had a lot of fun of making this. We should swap video tips as we learn them!
Hilarious!! I can just tell how much fun you guys had filming that one. It reminds me of the group videos we used to make for high school presentations back in the day. They were never serious and we always had so much fun making them. I’m a fan of the voiceovers for sure! I’m thinking some voiceovers involving Myron and Homie would be pretty epic…something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zEPiQI3M2Y Can’t wait to see the next video! (And thanks for posting video here on the blog…it’s easier for me to keep up with the new ones that way.)
Yay! Thanks, David 🙂
That video you shared is hilarious. I’ll TOTALLY tell Kieran we should do the voiceovers for the pets. That would be hilarious 🙂
Thank YOU for giving me the idea to still post videos on the blog!
Awesome job, Christina! I look forward to seeing more videos from you! It looks like you and Kieran had a fantastic time filming!
Awww, thanks Laura! We’re having a lot of fun with it 🙂
Congrats on the You Tube venture! Your intro video had me laughing hard. Video is still intimidating for me but I know I need to get into it. Look forward to more. Take care.
Thank you, Stacey! I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to comment!
exciting!! i think the hardest part is just starting, since video is such a beast. and just think- someday you’ll look back and be like, dang, i’ve come so far! i think that’s one of my favorite parts about always blogging and tweaking (:
Thank you! I totally agree! I look back at my old food photography compared to now and can’t believe I improved so much. Right now my video’s production value is janky, but I can’t wait to see how I improve!
