This Halloween Up-Chuck Stuffed Brie is a great appetizer for an adult Halloween party. Stuffed with a diced pear, dried cranberries, and jalapeno, this easy party food will be a spooktacular hit at your next Halloween party.
Yasss, Halloween is right around the corner and it’s my favorite holiday! Back in the day, I use to transform my apartment into a ghost town and throw the wildest Halloween parties. I would replace all the lights with purple bulbs and black lights. The apartment glowed purpled, it was awesome. My Halloween decoration style resembles a haunted Pee-Wee’s Playhouse. My decorations are often silly with an air of grossness.
For example, I used to own an Alf plush doll. Alf was a fury TV alien that liked to dine on cats. A few years back I thought it would be fun to use Alf as a Halloween decoration. I tied him to a chair and set a TV tray in front of him. On the TV tray, I put a plush cat, torn in half and stuffed with cooked ground meat, on a plate. I taped a fork and knife to Alf’s hands so it looked like he was eating the cat.
The puff pastry eyes on the stuffed brie are subtle. The eyes are meant to look like they are squeezed shut. The bottom of the brie is the mouth which is exploding with cheese like it’s spewing up-chuck everywhere. It’s a fun and zany way to present a killer brie appetizer for your Halloween party.
If you want more defined eyes, you can forgo the extra puff pastry decoration and use candy eyes!
I made the Halloween Up-Chuck Stuffed Brie with a diced pear, diced jalapeno, dried cranberries, and a dash of cinnamon. If I was going to make my Halloween food look like up-chuck, I thought it would be funny if the cheese was chunky. I mean, this is Halloween we’re talking about, get as weird with your Halloween party food as you want.
The pear and dried cranberries pair perfectly with brie cheese and the jalapeno adds a zesty kick. You can customize this recipe to meet your taste preferences. You can add other types of dried fruit, honey, nuts, mushrooms, ect. Get as creative as you want!
I miss throwing adult Halloween parties. Kid parties are fun and cute but I love getting crazy, scary, and gross. If you are throwing an adult Halloween party and want a delicious and fun appetizer to share, you gotta try this Halloween Up-Chuck Stuffed Brie!
